    there is no swelling on the leg, that was the ankle joint at a funny camera angle. I can assure you that there is no swelling :) and as of the comment above suggestion I give him a varied diet... I do, but i cannot force him to eat the insects he wont eat, that would be more stressful to him...

    He goes through stages of what he eats. A few months on crickets until he gets bored then i change it and I use nutrobol. Hes been on mealworms for about 2 months, but he does this often, he'll be on locust for a few months at the time. mealworms are gut loaded on bran and kale.

    My experience is that Yemen are easy to care. They can tolerate alot more. They won't curl over and die at the slightest changes. The 2 iv had (on separate occasions) been quite nasty. However my friends Yemen was quite placid. My panther (my pride and joy) is so friendly, soon as I get home...
