    My veiled HATES misting! He takes off! Luckily he drinks from ice cubes that drip into his cage. I wish he liked water because I hate making him irritated :P

    Arden's Third Shed!

    My little 5 month old veiled just had his third shed. These pictures were taken just a day apart, it's amazing how much their colors change! Arden is my little gem. I can't wait to see what other colors he has!

    I believe that he is changing because they often darken their skin to better absorb light. It's for basking :]

    Thanks Jan! It was upon seeing your gorgeous Luie that I decided to seek a turquoise male veiled. He was truly an inspiration! Arden's father is a turquoise heavy fellow and I'm hoping it shows up in Arden as well.
