Update: the day lights are both still good, replaced the D3. The Plant Pro Bulb is what is burnt out, so I'll be getting another one soon. I do have another plant light so least its not that big of an issue.
Thanks for the help guys. And Todd your fixture is awesome! Everyone really likes the...
I use a pond fountain pump for my DIY setup, its more of a dripper/rain system, but to date no issues (~1yr). I needed a pretty big pump as mine is moving water up about 7'.
Hello,
I have my new D3 light on order already (12% this time), but noticed one of the other bulbs seems to be dim or dead also. I'll have to see which it is when I replace the D3 bulb.
So question, anyone know about how long the 6.5K Light Bulbs and PlantPro bulbs last or when they should be...
My guy didn't like the cup as much as roaming also, but same issues of the bugs hiding. I made up a feeder cup and roaming area in one. Maybe you guys can try to make one and see if that works, its done well for me so far.
Mine loves a water dish, the previous owner didn't drip or mist, so I think he just got used to it. Took me quite awhile to ween him back to just droplets on leafs, and I still catch him wandering around the bottom of the cage after it rains..if I had a bowl in there I'm sure he would drink...
Looks like the price would come in around $4,400. Its steep, but if interested PM me and I can get you details. Its a lifetime cage being Aluminum so something to think about if you know you will be owning Chams for a long time!
Look at them all! Don't you want them! Lets say $125/OBO, but if shipped would have to work that out. Great deal for the prices you pay for smaller quantities!
Again Package Includes:
*Blue Bin if local (Not sure if I could ship this) - Includes Hygrometer, Digital Thermometer and Thermometers...
Yes that is the basking light on the side, more of a quick solution. I got a bit carried away during the design of the cage to think about how much space a lamp like that would take up and it wouldn't fit on top!! I had modeled the LYR fixture I have on top, so I based the spacing on that which...
That is just some 1/16" acrylic I grabbed from Home Depot, this is 2.0 version, my first didn't have those and the roaches immediately capitalized on my error and ran behind the mesh and hid, so that keeps everyone in the feeding area now.
I like it! I just worked up a new feed cup also, works great to get some roaches room to move and and get your Cham's attention!

Let me double check costs, I'll let you know. I could potentially with input help design you a different style/size cage to your requirements and get costs for that as well!
