I did notice the shine on it! I thought it was a bit suspicious, but I wasn’t sure. I’ll definitely sand it a bit and give it a bendy-branch, since this is his favorite basking spot and I want him to enjoy it to the fullest. 💚

For a few days after I put a bamboo bridge in Rango (my veiled)’s cage, he avoided the general area. I had hoped to use it with the intent of helping his claws dull out a bit. He seems to have explored the bamboo out of curiosity while I was away today. Look at his basking stance! 😂

They seem to hover around the ceiling, specifically the lights. Occasionally they will move onto Rango’s branches. I think they may have come from another part of my home? I don’t leave food in my veiled’s cage for more than a day at a time. He usually eats it… but right now, he’s in shed 😅

Definitely fruit flies. I have some in other parts of my house… but I have no idea how they ended up in here. 😅

I’m sure there are already many posts about this issue… but I’ve noticed that gnats (fruit flies) seemed to come out of nowhere and have become roommates with my Veiled. Is there a simple way to solve this problem? Maybe a plant of sorts?

Hey, all! Me again. So I’ve come across one issue that genuinely bothers me: I work late (usually until about 9 PM), and I cannot water my Veiled until I am home. I do not want any family member accidentally doing something wrong while trying to help, and I do not have an automatic mister yet...
