I have a 1 yr old baby jackson but what i find weird is that when i offer crickets he gets really close and then shoots his tounge or just gets so close that he bites the cricket, kind of like a bearded dragon would. Should i be worried that he isnt shooting from far?

My cham hasnt eat for a day or two i usually feed him 3 or 4 dusted criclets a day he hasnt eaten for a couple or three days he is shedding now so im not sure why he is not eating should i be worried?
Honestley now that you mention it i have never caught him pooping while he was doing it so maybe i just got overworried and didnt think about the fact that poop hardens with O2
