Hello,
I initially purchased my first Mistking system for my first chameleon. After several months, the system clogged, and since I did not realize it was just the nozzle, I purchased an entirely new system. Then, I purchased extensions to hook up my other chameleon cages (which I have yet to...
Your beautiful lady reminds me a bit of my Karma! Karma is currently digging to lay and she has me pretty nervous, but I'm sure all will work out just fine.
I adopted a cat who was absolutely filthy. She was picked on by the other cats in her cage and laid in a dirty litter box for the majority of her time at this shelter. When I adopted her, she absolutely required a bath, there was no question. It would have been cruel to not bathe her at that...
Seeing as chameleons shouldn't be held that much anyhow, I would just wear gloves while holding the chameleon when necessary. Also, regardless of if you're pregnant or not, it's always important to wash your hands after handling any reptile. :)

It depends on how far you want to drive, but just on the other side of the river from St. Louis is a fantastic reptile shop called Tie-Dyed Iguana (thetdi.com). They have tons of reptiles as well as other animals and all the supplies you could possibly need.
He is darling, congrats!
We have one decent reptile show in our area every few months, and one monthly show where the participants are questionable (sickly animals) so we do not attend. I'm always jealous of people who can attend good shows!
Here is the list I use:

Regardless of where you purchase the plants, you should definitely wash them before using them. I replant in organic soil and cover the soil with large palm-sized stones.
You may want to wait a bit to get to know him before...
I use a misting system as well, but I am not having the same issue. That being said, I have rocks covering the soil. What kind of plants do you have and how dense is the foliage?
