I found a few schlefferas today at Fry's, they're $10 but too short for my enlcosure, bummer! Heading to Lowes this afternoon.

They're a knock off from the original reptisun, made by a different company, but they should work just fine. Why not go with a regular reptisun though? Same price probably.

Do I need a grow light, or will the reptisun 5.0 be enough lighting? Also, do I need to add anything to the soil to help keep the plant alive, such as miracle grow?

The weather here has turned around, lately it's been 80ish out during the day, so I am hoping stores are stocking spring/summer plants now.

I was just about to ask about the plastic cover, just got back from walmart and figured the plastic would block the UVB so I removed it. I mounted the reptisun bulb in there, and got my heat light setup, looks nice!

I have the enclosure completed, finised screening the top today, and got it moved into my new apartment. I am about to go pickup a light fixture, dripper, and a bulb for my spotlight for heat. Going to shop around for a plant to get started growing on my patio until I get the chameleon. I am...

I guess I should just keep an eye out for a real plant then, everything I have found is either too small, or too large.
