If I gave him greens while waiting for him to eat the roaches is that fine, or should I just plainly give him nothing? It’s odd how he clears big bowls of greens but still is pick about roaches.

Recently I decided to switch my chameleon from crickets to roaches because he was over the roaches. I tried them dusted but he didn’t try to eat them. It’s kind of odd because he used to be on roaches before crickets. Please let me know if you have any tips.

Here’s the renovated terrarium, he got a little puffy and bright while we were doing it. He looks like he may be shedding soon which my say something about his constipation.

even at his highest spot he is still not moving and i am starting to think it is not a heat problem because he is bright all day

So then if it is not the heat why is he not moving?

I put this branch up for him and he finally moved just for the heat, now I’m worried about him getting uvb because it is too cold and he only wants to sit here to stay warm. I’m going to upgrade him to a 75 watt light bulb so he could start climbing down more so he’s positioned around 6 inches...

He is using a 5.0 UVB light, the fixture isn’t a bulb it is a bar light. I have an extra branch, I can hang it up to get him a little closer to the light. How close is too close?

I think I found the problem, I had to replace his lights because they were old it was too cold for him inside
