Adults males should be kept in 2'x2'x4' screen enclosures. Adult females can be kept in a smaller enclosure like an 18"x18"x30" but bigger is better, this is just the minimum for both. Happy Cham keeping! Would love to see pics.

What species? And what do you mean for an adult and a 7 month old? Unless these are Pygmy chameleons they should be separate.
