    Garden tomato worms

Thank you all so much I am glad I asked. I will now figure out how to get rid of them as the tomatoes and plants in general are doing so well this year.

    Garden tomato worms

Would it be ok to feed the chameleons or any of my other bug eating reptiles some tomato worms? I was watering my small gardens this morning and saw at least 5 or so tomato worms. I have fed them all hornworms before I purchased at Repticon but have never had tomato worms till this year. I did...

my boy marley has seemed stressed lately

Would it be possible that your hairless sphinx is stressing him out? Is he trying to go into shed? Is he eating as usual? Maybe give him some space away from the sphinx for a while everything neutral ie heat, light, water and food.

    Oustalet's Chameleon Facts

Lizardguy will you be offering the hatchlings on sale here or do you supply some place and they are therefore already spoken for? If you do sell them on here or to the public in general, what is your asking price for a male? Does it matter if its just a pet weather its male or female in regards...

    Oustalet's Chameleon Facts

I was following this post as I was looking into them as well from suggestions I got from members here from a post I had, and I imagine we could find some at The Chameleon Farm? Good luck with your search.

Which large chameleon would you recommend?

I am thinking about getting into larger chameleons. I only hope to keep one.I have only ever had a Tamatave and now Ambilobe. I know chameleon temperament is different but I am hoping for something known for their mellow temperament so it hopefully may be easier to handle when the need arises...

Video of chameleon's enclosure (tips appreciated)

Two of them are possibly M or L zoomed reptibreeze (I tried to go online to look at the dimensions but just can't tell:confused:). I got them start of this season after the 2 newer chameleons outgrew the smaller cages. The other is either a L or M and small reptibreeze combination so its taller...

Video of chameleon's enclosure (tips appreciated)

That is such a good idea on the bottom shelf and the drip tray. I used to have only one chameleon and I just used a pan under his cage. Cleaning was tedious. I now have 3 and its almost time to bring them in for the rest of the year. I have been wreaking my brain on how to set it up so that I do...

Has anyone ever seen a cham sleep like this?

The first couple of times I found my chameleon on the lower limbs arms hanging limp I thought he was dead! In a panic I went in... not sure what I could have done at that point.. turns out he was just hanging upside down.. asleep! Twice! I had never seen anything like it before and it got my...

    Handle your chameleon?

Reptiles are mostly ornamental in that most just want to be, but some do respond well to handling without showing stress. I imagine if u have one that is receptive to being held, they can eventually with for example, starting with a short time periods then progressively increasing the time they...

    RIP Rex :(

What sad news.. so sorry to hear. Take comfort in knowing you did your best and in the time you had him you got to know how sweet and gentle he was and know that in his own way he loved you too and was thankful for you and all you did for him. I think animals know our hearts and show us in ways...

Is no basking light in the summer ok?

You mentioned that the room gets plenty of light? I imagine if the chameleon is getting plenty of good lighting then what would be important is that he has a warm area and a cool area he can go to. They do need light but too bright a direct light can cause harm to the eyes so they would need an...
