Thank you for your response, I'll keep that in mind.
Currently, I have my mistking set to 15 minutes at 7:00 am, 2-3 minute mistings every 2 hours, and a 5 minute misting at 7 pm, then its off until 7 am the next morning. This seems to be keeping it 60-80% consistantly throughout the day, with...
Lots of information in there, thank you. Sorry, I realize I forgot to add the normal humidity level into my post. It's typically around 50% in my room, sometimes it will get as low as 40% certain times of the year, and it may jump up to 55% or so here a few there, but generally it will be about 50%.
So I'm setting up a mistking for the Jackson's chameleon I hope to get in a couple weeks to a month, and I'm honestly fairly confused by the seconds timer system.
Setup:
2×2×4 all screen cage. There are currently two live plants (I may add more) and some fake vines. The cage is located in a...
Thanks, I'm getting the misting system with this pay check and the light with the next, so I still have some time to decide on which system to get.
I'll look into the FB group, and if the Jackson's from FL chams end up being wild caught IllI probably just get them from there.
I've seen FLChams recommended for Jackson's on this site, but if they are wild caught then I won't get them from there. I just sent an email asking.
Good to hear about the lights, is there any reason as to why I might want to get the quad fixture, though, instead of the dual fixture?
Thank you...
I've decided that I might get a new fixture (I'm having problems with the reptisun). Would this one work? http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/24-ho-t5-double-bulb-fixture-with-arcadia-6-and-6-5k-day-light-bulbs-included/
So I'm getting an enclosure set up for a Jackson's Chameleon, and I have some questions about plant lights. The cage is a dragon strand 24"x24"x48", and before I get my chameleon I will have a good deal of branches and vines (probably a combination of live and artificial pathos). The lights I...
So I'm getting a chameleon in spring. It'll be a few months old, around the average size you would find at an expo. It'll be a male panther chameleon. Eventually, it'll be in a 2'x2'x4' Dragon Strand cage, but since it'll be younger, I plan on getting a smaller cage for him to live in for a few...
