A million years ago, no one was harvesting wildlife to study, to gaze in awe at or to consider reproducing. Thousands of millennia later, many wildlife populations have dwindled, species have gone extinct and human cohabitation have brought us to a moment where it is not only possible, but in some cases, necessary. The human wants to live and provide for his family and village while their government sells land to decimate and build modern structures or grow crops. In every case, something must give, and all too often it is the indigenous wildlife which is asked to move over, or leave entirely.
At One World Exotica, we know and understand the net result of such advances into areas where wildlife call "home" and we also understand that at least something can and must be done to help everyone involved. And when we say "everyone", we mean all living beings.
So what can we do?
For starters, we can invest in both the people and the animals, and at One World Exotica we donate 10% of each sale to help sustainability of wildlife areas as we invest in the people who care for the forest, water, and all of those beings which live there. We encourage animal harvesters to consider the population sustainability and the health of those areas where animals may be harvested. When you purchase with One World Exotica you not only receive amazing animals which have been impeccably cared for, you also help sustain those populations of creatures, and provide incentives for those human cohabitants to ensure the safety of those animal populations and encourage others to do the same.
