I use a water bottle with a pin hole in the bottom or a handfull of ice cubes. He still gets misted with warm water everyday though. I made a fogger but he didnt seem to like it for some reason.

I dont have a detailed DIY for you but do have an idea for ya. I had a old sewing cabinet that I turned into a cage with some styrofoam, paint and aluminum screen. (crickets eat threw plastic and fiberglass ;)) I bet you could find a free cabinet of some sort on craiglist!
