Baby veiled hanging upside down, HELP!!!

That's totally normal. I got Mulberry when he was 2 weeks, and he's now 10 months old and still hangs upside down from time to time. He did it much more when he was younger though. Totally normal...

How often/much to feed a 10 month veiled?

Hi I'm just wondering what the best eating schedule/amount is for a 10 month old veiled? I've had Mulberry since he was 2 weeks old, and I can't believe how huge he's gotten since then! I have been feeding mostly crickets/supers with some butters/cali worms mixed in, and I am going to be...

    Hunger Strike, what to do?

Oh! That's excellent! I was thinking it was going to be $100+. I'm in New Hampshire, and have had someone recommend a vet in the area. Thanks for the advice. If he doesn't eat in the next few days that'll be the next step. At 7 months, how much should they eat a day? I'm so used to feeding him...

    Hunger Strike, what to do?

Any idea what the cost of a fecal test is? I want to make sure that he is healthy and if he's not I will do anything i can to help him, but I am a jobless college student (for a few more weeks), and will only go to the vet as an absolute last resort. I'll post some pics later. He's still quite...

    Hunger Strike, what to do?

Thanks for the advice, what exactly are his fat pads on his casque and how do i assess that? Is it best to take the crickets out and only offer them a few times a day? I had been leaving the crix/worms in the cage constantly up until yesterday

    Hunger Strike, what to do?

Mulberry, my 7 month Veiled hasn't been eating like his normal self lately. I have always offered crickets, and about a month or two ago started giving him some supers. He really loved them at first and would eat tons and tons of them, but this past week I don't think he has eaten any...

    Best "Big" plant to get

I want to get Mulberry (6 month old veiled) a big plant for the bottom of his cage, and to also be able to use outside with him (now that the weather is warm). Whats the best thing to get, I want something that has thick branches for him to be able to climb on. Thanks for the help!!

Cham going to bottom of cage?

Thanks for the advice. I got a new heat bulb for him and this seems to have solved the mouth opening problem from what I've observed. Thanks for the rec on the vet! Hopefully I won't have to take him, but it's good to know of someone I can seek out if need be. I'm going to add some more...

Cham going to bottom of cage?

I'll have to pay attention to the noise when it happens again, but its definitely not anything too loud, i think it just sort of sounds like a yawn. I'll try to notice tomorrow if he does it. Basking temp I believe is between 85-90. I see you're in Bow. I'm in Plymouth :)

Cham going to bottom of cage?

Thanks for the suggestion, i actually have a small ficus that came from LLL (although i wish i'd ordered a large), but i just recently took it out until I can get some rocks to fill it with because I was worried that he was eating the dirt. So you might be right about this. It just seems so odd...

Cham going to bottom of cage?

He's not having any other problems that I have noticed, aside from being a bit of a grump haha, but that's expected... He does do this thing where he's almost yawning sometimes...but i'm guessing that's normal?

Cham going to bottom of cage?

He's a veiled. Here's a pic of him from earlier today. He just shed and is looking awesome! I also added a pic of his set up. The UVB light is missing as last night it stopped working and I've gotta get to the pet store later or tomorrow to figure out what's wrong with it.

Cham going to bottom of cage?

Mulberry (born in Sept) is in a 3 foot tall screen LLL cage. He's got a Pothos, lots of fake vines/leafs everywhere on the top half of his cage, but frequently throughout the day i find him crawling down to the bottom. Is this normal? He's been doing it for a few weeks now and I am just...
