My GTP has never bitten or even tried to bite me. I think the reputation comes from wild caught or 'farmed' imports that get shoved in a bag and shipped across the world. The captive bred ones I've seen are fairly placid although all animals have different personalities.
I dont believe GTPs...
I have no idea what these plastic covers are, I've never seen them. Over here the majority of fluorescent fixtures used are Arcadia and they just attach to the end of the tube which is then clipped to the vivarium.
I've read that the reptibreeze aren't great quality and also that non-mistking seconds timers are prone to failure. Is there any truth to these issues?
Cheers. I'm sure the vivarium will be fine, it has more volume than a 2x2x4 and is still quite tall.
Do you know how the Pollywog systems compare to Mist King? I've seen the starter kit with a seconds timer for about £130 which is the same as Pollywog.
Hi,
The Mrs has got her little heart set on buying a chameleon in the near future so I thought I'd see if anyone has any tips for us. We're in the UK so there are bound to be differences in the care we give our chameleon(s) compared to you in America and elsewhere.
Firstly, ambient temperatures...
Are the mist kings available here in the UK? We're looking in to getting a chameleon but regular hand misting would be difficult with us both working full time.
