Try changing what you offer him? My young male VC goes mad for regular meal worms and even comes running when there is a wax worm about! I've just ordered some silk worms so hopefully that will vary his diet/treats even more.

Ditto, that looks like a female to me? Smaller veil, and no extra spur on the rear legs, and no so much colouration My male VC who's approx 8" in overall length is quite happy to be out on his vine perch for an hour or so everyday. I normally do so in the afternoon after he's had a few hours...
