He checked his bones and thought they felt soft. For treatment he had us give liquid calcium. He perked up when we did this but within a week stopped eating everything. Vet had us giving him food with a syringe but it didn't help.

Well I came in this morning and he was dead. Tank met husbandry standards and we did everything the vet said to do. I think there may have been more wrong then what we originally thought.

What did the vet say? My Panther had a similar issue. Vet said early MBD. Panther passed shortly after. We had done everything the vet said and had our cage in alignment with standards but he just wouldn't swallow.

He was definitely sick. I ended up taking him to the vet, and he is being treated. He seems to be getting better and has finally entered a full shed. Thanks for all your input. I implemented the changes recommended by this group and confirmed by the vet. He is happier.

FYI- I just found an article that says plumb tree bark has cyanide in it and can leach into lizards skin. IDK that that is what is going on, but I removed all the branches and will take him into the vet.

Yes, humidity during the day is 70. That was me hitting the wrong key. I'll turn on the fan. It's been more than a week since the white dots appeared and his skin darkened. He does stand in the sprayer so I am hoping with more plants and changing the angle he can find a way to stay dry. Any...

I haven't been spraying him but he does live in a humid environment

His humidity is around 50 in the day and 80s at night. I may need to turn that down.

All Chams or Panther Chams specifically? From everything I have read Panthers are slightly different.

Crude, he's been at it longer than that. Nothing has come off in big pieces.
