what scared me was that after 6 hours it was still out like in the picture. So I kept it moist and it was still out a bit the next morning, but not as bad. I didnt want to risk anything so I called the vet and made an appointment only to call when I got home from work to cancel it as he was ok...
UPDATE:
Yesterday morning I got a hold of the local reptile vet to bring him in the be seen and they said they would squeeze me in when I got off work even though they were fully booked. When I got home everything was back in and he is back to his usual self. I am still monitoring his poops...
So this morning my boy was roaming around his cage and decided to flash his hemipenes but they haven't gone back in fully yet. This was approximately 6 hours ago, can anyone tell me what I can do to help him? Please see the attached picture of his current state.
Thank you in advance for all...
Sorry to hear about the issue with your panther.
I went through something like this two weeks ago and freaked out myself.... turns out there was just a little something stuck in his eye.
What I did was give him half hour showers 3 days in a row to make sure that his eye was clear which...
I have a panther chameleon named Mr.Googley who is 3 years old and he is in a 24x24x48 and everyday when I get home he is waiting at the door to come out for some "mommy time" as I like to call it. Then I have my 2 year old panther Columbus who would prefer not to be touched, period.

Most of my plants are from Home Depot, but remember not all plants are safe for your chameleon.
For the ones that are chameleon friendly, I make sure to thoroughly rinse all the leaves as well as remove the plant from the soil and rinse the roots as to be sure there are no harmful...
Glad to see you got it sorted!! I am happy he is happy again!
I have two chameleons in cages side by side and I use a shower curtain and wrap it around 3 sides of the cage.... not only does it block their view, it helps with humidity to!
Good luck with your little one, sounds like he is...
I may be wrong but I believe your supposed to leave them at room temp. to hatch.... I'm wondering if it's possible that you burnt them? I could be totally wrong here, just my thoughts though.
Are the two chameleons in the same cage or separate cages?
If they aren't in separate cages, they should be. If so, then I chalk it up to you've only had him a week and he is working on settling into his new home. Keeping in mind that every chameleon is different so it may take him a little...
Hello everyone,
I have a chameleon is just over 1 1/2 years old and I find lately that he is starting to pale out.
Is this something I should worry about?
Hello Everyone,
My friend has a leopard gecko's who's tail has been like this for about a month. It's not a shedding issue and she has tried warm water and a qtip to try and help remove it.
Any Ideas on what this could be?
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks!
