Giant dubia still living in my chameleon's enclosure

It is the Cham in my profile. He actually seems very disinterested in it which is odd since he usually really likes dubia roaches.

Giant dubia still living in my chameleon's enclosure

So I was feeding dubia roaches to Gus a month or more ago and either myself or my hubby lost one in the enclosure. In the past they've either reappeared and Gus eventually found them or they simply died. I assumed that is what happened to this last one. Not so, it has reappeared when I put...

Feeder food strike, wants fruit instead

Is this used as a treat? He is eating fruit, just not feeders that I currently have on hand. I am concerned he'll get too picky if I give him treats all the time.

Thanks for the heads up on horned worms. That was something I didn't know.

Feeder food strike, wants fruit instead

Good to know about the super worms. I use to hand feed those until one plunged his little spiky head into my finger once, that's one reason I dislike them so much, haha!

Feeder food strike, wants fruit instead

Since I have never fed Gus silkworms, I'm a little confused about how to go about it. Do I need to gut load? Do most adult chams eat multiples at a time? I don't have colonies of anything as we have a reptile store in my town so I just try to keep small amounts of feeders on hand by the week or...

Feeder food strike, wants fruit instead

Hi, It's been some time since I last posted, but life with Gus has been business as usual for the most part until the past couple of weeks ago. After checking back with this forum on diet, it appears he is on a food strike when it comes to crickets and Dubia roaches. I am waiting and watching...

Help! Unidentified critters on my Pothos

That will be my next move, if I can't get rid of 'em. The pothos had gotten pretty big, so I wanted to see if I could save them. Any ideas as to why I got them in the first place? It's going to be hard to avoid if it has something to do with the moisture/humidity in the enclosure, but I'm not...

Help! Unidentified critters on my Pothos

Hey thanks for your input. Just got done completely cleaning out cham cage and pulling out all plants and spraying down with Bio-Neem. Put Gus back in with a couple plants I had in the house, but not nearly the coverage he's used to so he's not a super happy camper right now. I'm thinking in...

Help! Unidentified critters on my Pothos

Will it kill my pothos? will it harm my cham? I appreciate any information you have especially in regard to my cham.

Help! Unidentified critters on my Pothos

Can anyone identify the little pest that seems to be on a majority of the Pothos leaves in my Chams enclosure? The plants look really nice and healthy, but Gus grabbed onto a leaf today and it flipped over and I saw this. If you know what it is, do you know why it's there, and is it...

    Hanging out outside his enclosure

Thanks for the info to both those questions. I did keep his smaller cage when I changed up so I will use it for taking him outside.
