She is doing better dhe stopped gaping we put a digging pot im there for her and shes had vines for awhile even when she wasn't supposed to be climbing we just put them flat pn the cage floor she has good airflow though and tge eggs were oval shaped

Bout 14 " because shes in a glass awuarium i lnow there not generally suitable for chams but the vet suggested because of the mbd and i measure thetemp with a flukers thermometer

85 shes well hydrated

Shes bren gaping her mouth latelly too

I dont have the xrays the vet doea and the egga were faint in tje xray

Shes 6 1/2 mo shes getting her calcium liquid and food supp bit shes not too weak to dig the vet said dont.allow her to cuz she might fracturr more bones

Btw there were only two and they havent calcified yet

Our female veiled is in the midst of recovering from mbd and she had xrays and the vey thinls there eggs and i dont want hwr to become egg bound anything i can do to get her to lay ive already tried a lay bin but she has lim fractures and cant be climbing or digggingthe vet said any ideas

Yeh we took her out yesterday after the appt for some sun but thanks.for the info about.the.light were going for her second injection today

Is it ok to leave the UV light on all night to hasten the healing process of mbd

Took her to the vet sge has mbd $400. Later and hopefully the treatments work we will be hand hand feeding her supplements hopefully shell pull through

I just found out today that our veiled has mbd and is displaying some similar symptoms she may have the same condition the one pic looks like she has a dbl knee i may be mistaken good luck
