No he woke up as I turned them on. The eye is still shut but his a bright green. I can trigger the mister right now but it just went off a couple of minutes ago. No I do not have a hand held mister.

Thanks for the feed back! To answer your question on the problem, I wake him up by turning his lights on and then 5 minutes later I turn mine on. I have an automatic mister and I took the bowl out.
