    First Pygmy Hatchling

Only the one hatchling so far. I gave the baby to my local reptile store (The Tye Dyed Iguana for those of you near Saint Louis) to raise because my herp space is limited. I'm going to give the other eggs a few more weeks before I excavate them.

    First Pygmy Hatchling

Good luck with your female. I didn't do much to incubate the eggs. She laid them near the corner of the cage in jungle mix. I made sure the substrate where she laid was damp and not soaked. Besides temperature regulation, nothing else.

    First Pygmy Hatchling

My female Pygmy laid a clutch of 4 eggs at the beginning of February. The wife saw this little guy making its way up a pothos vine from the laying site in the terrarium.

What is this on my tree branch?

I scrubbed when I first obtained the branches, but didn't scrub the lichens off.

What is this on my tree branch?

I did not bake the branches. I cut off the fungus portion and inspected the rest. So far no signs of fungus anywhere else.

What is this on my tree branch?

My Pygmy enclosure has several branches that have fallen off a silver maple in my yard. After 2 months this began to grow. Is this a fungus I should worry about?

    My Pygmy Pair

The male really enjoys his evening mist. He may be getting close to shedding because he rubs his head a lot on branches during the misting. The female laid eggs a few days ago. She is a tank compared to the male.

Pygmy laid her first eggs and doing well.

About a month and a half. The female was gravid when purchased. They were both wild caught, so not certain of their ages. So far they both have been active and eating regularly. I will definetly post some pics of the little ones. Hopefully I will be able to catch some pics of them excavating...

Pygmy laid her first eggs and doing well.

My female laid her first clutch of four eggs on the 31st of January. She laid them in the corner of my exo terra 12x12x18. It was a several hour ordeal for her to dig, lay, reposition the eggs, and bury. When the mister came on in the evening she drank and drank. The next morning she...

    Advice on Pygmy chameleon setup.

I appreciate the advice. I added more climbing and got a female to go with the male. Added springtails and they must be keeping any fungus down. When I change the substrate, I will add a drainage layer.
