    Source for silkworms?

I just got 100 small silks from Coastal Silkworms in Jacksonville. I ordered them a few days ago.

    Hawaii Outdoor Enclosure

I might be incorrect but isn't cedar toxic to reptiles? It's a beautiful enclosure so I hate to mention it but I'm pretty sure it's toxic. I hope someone who knows more will chime in.

    Can I feed this butterfly?

It's not a monarch. It's more brownish. I'm not going to feed him unless I can find out exactly what he is. We have these bright blue ones also but I know bright equals toxic or a bad taste. Thanks for trying to identify.

Do silkworm eggs need to be kept in the fridge?

Great, wish I'd known that. Now I'm going to have 1000 silkworms for my one 9 month old Panther.

Do silkworm eggs need to be kept in the fridge?

I just unpacked my silkworm eggs. Are they supposed to be kept in the refrigerator? Also the instructions say they need to be kept 78 to 82 degrees for hatching. Do you guys use incubators? How are you maintaining that temp?

Getting my chameleon used to me

If you allow him to climb out on his own on to a tree or plant he may be less defensive. He is in a cage, he can't get away so he is defending his territory.most of the time if I put my hand in for my guy to climb out he just stares at me. If I let him climb out on his own and then put my hand...

Best place to buy Discoid Roaches online?

I live in Florida and I purchased discoids at the Daytona reptile show on August. I have a card in my car of the place I bought them from. I'll post it tomorrow. I brought home 60 mixed babies. They are huge now. They have not reproduced yet. Only a few have wings so far. Obviously if you...

Advice if I have proper set up

I don't have a Jackson but my Panther darkens up when he's basking to absorb more heat. They tend to brighten up when sleeping. I don't think color changes alone are a good way to judge mood. They darken and lighten for so many different reasons. If your Cham was close to black all the time then...

New Cham owner. Black outline on veil.

I'm so glad to hear he's doing better. Kudos to you for not just returning him. He can still have a full and happy life with the correct care you are now able to give. A new Petco was just built near me. I couldn't help myself, I had to check if they brought in chameleons. They did. They have...

My huge project - dream came true.

You know I posted that comment without reading the whole thread. I only saw the first picture. My mistake sorry.

My huge project - dream came true.

This is beautiful! I just have one other comment, I'd slid it a little bit farther from the curtain or the plant on the windowsill. Otherwise he will be roaming. This is one of the nicest screen-less setups I've ever seen.

    Panther eating fake bendy vine!

Ok, will do. I took out the vine he took a bite out of because I didn't want him to keep nibbling on that spot. I left the other vine in. I've been checking on him a lot today and he seems to have left it alone. I'll watch for him to poo. I just got some hornworms fo that will keep things...

    Panther eating fake bendy vine!

I walked into the room my Cham is in and he was eating the bendy vine! He was chewing and quickly swalloed the Leicester before I could open the enclosure. He's 8 months and I've never seen him eat plants. I usually give him a two silkworms around 8am but I ran out yesterday. I was running late...
