    RB BB Ambilobe

I got this guy from LanceCham here on the board. He posts on Kingsnake as well. Tell him Matt sent you if you end up talking to him. They're about 8 months old, and big for their age. cheers, Matt

    stopped eating

I have panthers, but I'd say that 7" is too shallow. I have containers that are about 16" and my girls don't usually go all the way down, but they decide where to stop rather than: 'is this deep enough'. I'm using a simple black wastebasket from Wal-Mart: $2.50. Cheers, Matt

Patriotic Post: Happy 4th from B.U.G.

LOL He's very confident, He'll hiss to keep you at bay when you walk by, but won't fire up unless I act like I'm going to eat him or something. Gentle is probably not the right word, he doesn't like coming out of his cage, unless he feels like he escaped.

Thank you. I'd like to think I've learned something after all the years of missed shots and calling it 'learning'. M

He gets mad enough when I really harass him, but the mirror doesn't work and by the time I back away, he thinks he's won and cools down immediately. When he's really fired up the contrast really gets bumped up a notch; the blues don't change much, but the red gets much brighter. Matt

    Putting chams outside-temp

You sound like you have a good setup, so I wouldn't worry much. Provide them with shade and water, and they'll figure it out. When in doubt, more shade. You could even just drape an extra piece of screen over the cages when they're outside. Matt

He's only about 7 months old, and I can't get him fired up for the life of me... He wasn't what I was looking for when I came across him, but I couldn't pass him up either. Matt

    Chameleon inventory

I just wanted to give some more props to Lance. The male I bought from him recently is awesome. He's a little pissy, but... (edit: B.U.G. not Lance haha) I just put a bunch of photos here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/patriotic-post-happy-4th-13411/#post109405 Cheers, Matt

    Unwanted Little Critters!!!

I'm in Colorado now, but while in Florida, we used to contain new ant mounds/colonies with boiling water... We would disturb the nest and when 10,000 of them were out trying to repair the damage; we'd strike! A few pots of boiling water later and the mound would die off... Cheap if nothing...

Looking for a keeper in the San Jose area

Anyone here from San Jose or the Bay area? I may need someone to ship a few chams for me from San Jose to Denver. I would reimburse for time and expenses of course. Thanks everyone. Matt
