I had this problem with my Jackson's Cham. It turned out he was just too hot and the lamp (75 watt) was too close to the cage for him. Moved and now he isn't doing it anymore.

Handling is something you shouldn't do often but a little handle here and there won't hurt. I handled mine a lot at one point and I slightly regret it now because I realized that I was putting him through stress.

Just an update :) His urate is white now and he's healthy. I took all of your suggestions and I aslo got a humidifier (cool mist humidifer) for him and it seemed to work really well! Thanks to everyone who helped :D

My Jackson is really friendly and for some reason he enjoys coming out of his cage and he sits in the pocket in the hoodie and chills. When he wants to go back in he'll climb out and onto my hand. He's so weird :P
