Housing crickets tip didn't go as far as to sandpaper, I read (and succeeded) that you can just put a ring of clear packaging tape around the inside of the tub and they can't climb past it. My crickets are happily in a 20 gallon tub full of egg cartons and don't get past the tape. I did cut...
