She never said what it was. She just said it was a bacteria infection. So she gave me some anabiotic’s to start using. Unfortunately he started going down hill pretty fast after we got back home. He past the next day.
Kyler,
So it started about 5 or 6 days ago. He just had his eyes closed all day and setting under his heat lamp. He wouldnt move but occasionally would move to get some water. But he would not eat. Went to the vet yesterday and they cleaned out the affected area in his mouth and gave him some...
Well I have bad news. I don’t think he’s going to make it. He won’t even grip anything. I got home from work and he was at the bottom of the enclosure. He won’t move and he’s barely breathing. Not sure how it hit him this fast.

It went alright. They were able to get his mouth cleaned out really well. She gave me some cleaner and some anabiotics so let’s hope they work! He has been sleeping all day after we got back home. I think he’s in a little pain just from the cleaning.
I have a appointment at 1:15 tomorrow. She said they might have to kinda sedate him so they can get his mouth open? Anybody have a chameleon go under? Do they do alright?
Unfortunately I don’t have a exotic vet around me. But we do have a animal clinic in town. But if they can’t help do you have a suggestions on vets that I could call?
This is a little closer picture. One thing I do remember is he had a cricket leg in the side of his mouth after he got done eating. Could that have cut him or something? The red part it really hard. So it’s like scab. I took a cue tip with warm water and kinda touched around.
Yes that is exactly what it looks like. He is pretty camera shy. But I will try. Thanks for the help. Is there any thing you can do for it or will it just go away?
I just noticed a couple days ago that my Jackson has a red spot on his mouth? He sets under the heat lamp all day. I just noticed that he tries to scratch it on the vine. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks!
The thing is that they have been in that same room for a long time. I have also have had many batches in that same room. So I’m not sure. I’m able to get crickets on Sunday so he should be fine?
