    Chameleon not like crickets

If he likes worms you could introduce silk worms. They are soft bodied and full of calcium.

    New Pygmy Chameleon!

I picked up two on Friday and have started to gather together the requirements for Bioactive soil. Springtails and wood lice arrived today. They would take care of any mould.

    Pigmy chameleons

I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me what type of pigmys these are, also what sex are they please. The darker of the two seems to have a bulge.

    Jelly pots for gut loading?

Veileds are a good first Cham. They are a little more hardier than panthers. If you choose a female remember they will lay eggs regardless as to whether they have mated or not.:)

    Jelly pots for gut loading?

I use a " really useful box " for locusts. Med faunarium for crickets and dubais. It's good that you are doing your research before you get your Cham. Do you know what you would like to get?

    Jelly pots for gut loading?

Greetings from foggy Aberdeen. Have you looked at sandrachameleons blogs on here about gutloading. I make up a batch which lasts for ages. I prefer fresh fruit and veg for wet gutload.

    Heartbeats per minute

Thanks Dyana. I hoped you would answer. Popeye was on the back of the sofa climbing on my shoulder and I could hear a very slow rhythmic noise which I was sure it was his heart. He was right up against my ear. It was much slower than a human heart.:)
