At basking the temps are at 94°F and the branch is maybe 7 inches away from the lamp.its a 75W bulb as well.maybe the branch is to close?but if it was a burn wouldn't it start on the spine rather than the side of the belly?

My veiled piebald chameleon is in shed and I noticed that there are yellow patches on his skin. This is my first chameleon and he is 11 months old and I have never seen this before. I've read this might possibly be fungus or a bacterial infection. I will be taking him to the vet to make sure but...
