this is the soil used it has no fertilizer

i potted my plants about 2 weeks ago and when i looked at it a couple days ago there was this white layer on top. i thought it was mold so i replanted it and now its back. is this mold?

im also trying to increase the humidity how can i do that it’s currently at 37% i have a humidifier in the room and added more plants and i added window shrink wrap on all 3 sides to increase but still having trouble increasing the humidity
