Yes, pretty much exactly. Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better to know that it's most likely not rectal. Is that your video? If it is, how long did it take for the gecko to get it back in? Mine's is still out after over two hours now.
After thinking about it I realized that cold water makes much more sense, thank Laurie. I've got him soaking in ice cold sugar water now. So far no change.
Ice cold? The temp of the sugar water was actually another thing I was wondering. I was thinking of using lukewarm water, but if you've used ice cold water with success on chams then I will try that.
I'm not currently on any other forums and I know there are people here who are knowledgeable about crested geckos, so I figured I'd try posting here first.
I have 1.2 adult crested geckos housed together for breeding right now. They've been together for several weeks and I've seen successful...
I have a female veiled who was bred at the end of November and laid a clutch of 36 eggs at the end of December. She has not laid another clutch since and has not been bred again. The past couple of weeks she has appeared to be gravid again. Is this clutch likely to be infertile, or is there any...

My Chams, continued...
Here is Maverick, my big male veiled. He is a whopping 20 inches in total length. I about lost a couple fingers trying to measure him.
This is Neikas, a male veiled I had since he was 3 months old. Due to financial constraints I recently had to rehome him, but...
Now that I've finished up my junior year of college, I have a little more time on my hands to spend on Chameleon Forums. So I figured I'd (finally) post pictures of my chams. Hope you guys enjoy!
First up, momma Jackson. I've had her for a while but I haven't been able to settle on a name...
I don't know the answers to all of your questions, but I can tell you that the sex ratio of chameleon eggs is not temperature-dependent like some other reptiles (tortoises, leopard geckos, etc). The sexes of chameleons are genetically determined.
