Actually I found a post here
I found a post here that says that the only permited are Jacksons and veiled. It was something like legality of chameleons in Puerto Rico.
I bought one from petsmart and the other from petco. I don't think any of those will agree to have a veiled ship here. Thanks anyway, I'll keep looking online.
What do you mean by better control of the temp? I'll see if I can find the temp range for the veiled. I was thinking on add air conditioning for my living room, but I cannot leave it running during the day.
Unfortunately he did not make it. I guess the heat was too much for him. Last week we had a storm and lost power and the temps were almost 100F during the day. I still want to try to have a chamaleon, but with this temps I don't know if there a species that can handle them. :(
Hi @JacksJill,
What king of snails you're talking about? I have a pond in the yard with a lot of snails in pond's plants. Are those good enough? The ones we usually see in the yard are too big for him. He has a mouth only 1/2 inch wide.
About the water dish, I use it to collect the drops. It is only 1/2 inch drep so I clean it twice a day. The lamp that came with the kit is also a repti sun 5.0. The dracaena is pretty big and cover most of the back side of the cage. I also used the artificial plants that came with the kit.
