Anyone know of any good Veiled Chameleon Breeders in CA?

The first photo is a boy I raised. If you look at his head and casque you will see that it is much shorter. 2nd photo is from England and a much better specimen than mine of the subspecies Third photo is the primary chameleon that is very aloof and not friendly. Its casque is very tall. Both...

Anyone know of any good Veiled Chameleon Breeders in CA?

Hello, I use to raise them and I have two males. But I am looking for the subspecies that are far more brilliant in color and have a smaller casque. They love to be around people. This is the veiled I have always raised. You can see them on my face book page Jens Gentle chameleons. Their faces...

Chamaeleo calyptratus calcarifer, the subspecies of the chamaelo calyptratus. These are the chams I have raised for the past 15 years.

I do t have any babies from the subspecies at this time. I am needing a pair. I am waiting on a breeder that use to have them and need to reach out to him to see if I can get a pair.

These photos are of Chams that I have that I don't breed becuase they are from the upper elevation of Saudi Arabia. More fearful, less likely to be made pets.

constantly scratching at enclosure to get out!!

Hi, I never keep my chameleons in the cage all day long. I have several fica trees that are very large and keep one in every room. Once the chameleons have had their 4 hours of light, I allow them to roam the house and they go to their favorite fica tree and climb. They need excercise and can...

    Do you think he’s spoilt?

It is beautiful if the front of the tank was all screen. They need a lot of air flow. I hope it is.

    Batches from retained sperm

Yes, I would say it’s in the development and sperm not being healthy. I had 2 in one of my hatching that were the same as yours. I continued to hand feed but they did not make it in the end. They lasted 6 month but they never were strong. Vitamin, habitats was all normal. I’ve raised them...
