Yup - he does what he has to do and sits there, occasionally trying to climb my hair. He does wander down my arm now and again interrupting me! I have the best washed hands in the south!! Lol
Right.... Monty is approx 6 months and a good size. Eating, pooping and shedding well. Amazingly friendly to the point of charging to his doors when you open them and launches himself on to me!! However, it is now getting tricky to even mist his enclosure as he is always wanting out and paces up...

I know it will vary from animal to animal but roughly how many locust (medium size) would you expect a 6 month veiled Cham to chomp through a day? He is hand feeding from me beautifully now but was curious as to how many are 'normal'?

Hi all. Just spraying my little lovely gently on his nose and he start licking his lips (drinking??) and then closed his eyes and sticks his nose in the air while swallowing. Is this him liking it? Looks contented but wanted to check in case he is zoning out cos he hates it lol.

Just wondering ..... I gave my beardies a couple of pinky mice today for the first time and wondered about my Cham? Can they eat them? He is around 14 weeks and not tiny - not sure if they be a little big or not but great source of calcium surely? The snake loves them!! Wanted to check first so...
What an amazing day!! I saw my lil man eat for the first time AND drink! :D. Just to top it all off he is starting to shed! I'm so happy and proud of him :p he obviously must feel settled. Crazy days :)
First...... Can you have a viv that is too 'busy' with too much foliage etc? or is more better (more climbing availability, hiding, exploring etc?)
Second..... How often would you expect baby veiled's to shed? He is approx 10 weeks old, I have had him just over 2 weeks and he seems to have...
