    Solarmeter 6.2

I have a solar meter 6.2 for sale. Was a great tool to have. I have a very good idea of what my enclosures needs are and how often I need to change my bulbs so I no longer am in need of it. Asking $125. In brand new condition. Comes with the original case and instructions.

    Bromeliads dying....recommendations?

The plant pictured has since died. I'm working on my second one right now. It's tilted because of Ezio's incessant need to climb on it. I have drilled multiple holes in the foam plant holder that the pot sits in for drainage. I can't really take it or him outside. I live in Kansas and right now...

    Bromeliads dying....recommendations?

So I'm going on my 2nd bromeliad in my enclosure which appears to be dying just like the last one....seems to be from over watering. I have the mistking system that goes off 4 minutes a day 3 times daily. How do you guys keep your misters from over watering your plants? Any ideas? Here is a pic...

    How to hang plants

This is how I did it. Hot glue gun a little moss around the pot and you cant even tell. Believe it or not it's very durable and strong.

    A little gapping ok?

Ok, just making sure him gapping was ok even though I have his temps set correctly. I won't worry about him doing it then. Thank you!

    A little gapping ok?

I'm just wondering if my guy gapping every now and then is ok. He does it mostly in his basking spot and sometimes about mid cage but not for very long. Almost like a yawn. I'm 95% sure it's not an RI because he doesn't show any of the other symptoms and he will stop if I turn the light off. The...

    Running a dripper question

Thanks for the help. That's what I was looking for. I'll continue to use both then. My dripper works with a tube zip tied to the top of the cage and I actually pocked a couple holes in the tube to where there is about 3 spots where it drips on the pothos plant underneath and eventually makes its...

    Running a dripper question

Wow....lol I think what I was saying got misinterpreted. I have a mistking that sprays him 3 times a day for 4 minutes AND a dripper. I was just wondering with everyone saying "let the enclosure dry out completely" if that meant 100% dried out. For instance, I have the dripper going at all times...

    Running a dripper question

I've read a bunch of mixed posts about running drippers in conjunction with misting. With misting all I hear is "let the cage dry out between mistings". I was curious about other people's different views or sees a problem with running a dripper all day, turning it off at night. The cage dries...

    Advice needed asap

I'll go with the silks then. Just need to find a few more items I can use as a staple other than the silks. I'll try the insects you suggested and stop feeding him the wax worms except for once a week. The only other thing is how do I gutload silks since they primarily eat just the silk worm food.

Thanks, and I'm US based. I know about the wax worms but I just wanted to maybe use them to promote him to eat.

    Advice needed asap

I just received my first cham last Thursday. He is a healthy 8 month old male that I received from a forum member. I have tried to feed him dubias and crickets with no luck. I understand there could be many reasons why he isnt eating these, i.e. stress, moving into a new enclosure, or bored with...

Quick question about housing dubias and silks

I got the heat mats from Amazon. I wasn't sure if a thermostat would be necessary but for safety reasons it's a good idea. Thanks!

Quick question about housing dubias and silks

One more question haha, I haven't received my Panther yet (named him Ezio already) but he is 8 months old from what the breeder I bought him from told me. Is 1/2" roaches ok for him or too small? It's hard to say because I havnt received him yet so I don't exactly know how big he is.
