It's hard to see in the pic but I have the bulb slanted to one side so he has heat and dry, on the other side he has his dripper and humidifier, so he can move in and out of the heat or rain. Also has the dry cool area further down the bottom. The bulb is a screw in one, big round bulb. (Still...

Just watched the video link. Thanks. The bulb it shows is not the one I have, the one it shows I have heard that they are not to be used. Mine is a large basking UV bulb, made by Arcadia which is the same make as the T5. I'm just looking at the T5 online.

Ah ok, he's been under that bulb for quite some time now and I've not had any problems but if it's not right I'll change it. I have a double domed light that I can put in its place, will just need to buy the new bulbs. I'll have a look on Amazon now for them.

Typical isn't it. He uses it all and sleeps closer to the bottom, usually on a branch. The bulb is a 100w UV a/b basking. He's got a dripper and a humidifier setup which he loves too. He's quite active compared to some things I've read and I actually see him drink, pretty much all the time but...
