The thickness from the top is just chicken screen which has probably 1/4 inch holes. The cage is just a wood frame with screen on 3 sides and wood on the back. Edit: On the sides though it's a soft fiberglass mesh made for pets :)

I have a 3x2x4 (lwh) cage for my Adult Panther Chameleon. It's time to change bulbs and I have been using a 24" Reptisun 5.0. It just occurred to me though that I might be needing a stronger light since I now have a bigger cage! So should I get a Reptisun 5.0 or use a 10.0? Also I work...

How long should I leave the humidifier on? I have read from a post on here, that it is good to get it really wet and misty, but then let it dry out completely so you don't get any mold growing etc. I should also not mist at night when it is cold right? He only bulges his eye to "clean" it when...

Thank you for the replies. I have been rinsing out with the saline solution and have been doing a better job with misting and giving him water. I changed back his light too, as I thought maybe the new flood light was way too bright, and will see how he does. Does anyone know what the bulge...

I got a new camera (point&shoot cuz I only had a dSLR), some cozy pjs, lots of gift cards, and a new hair dryer :P I was told I got a 6ft ficus tree for my panther like I put on my xmas list...but came Christmas day there was no tree :[ I'm awaiting a delayed Christmas cage for Henry too...

Thank you for the reply, Im thinking about going 3x2x4 (lxwxh). Oh and how do you go about putting the screen on? I know my repti breeze cage has it rolled in like windows, is that what people do with their cages?
