I am a new chameleon mom to little Stevie. We rescued him from dog in the backyard and on closer examination it was found that he is not only in very poor health, but he is also blind. So he was named after the famous Stevie Wonder... and hasn't he been a complete wonder! Everybody I turned to for help said that he won't survive, that he is too weak and too dehydrated (Stevie couldn't even stand up or stay on his feet), but after two weeks in my care he is really doing much better!

He is being hand fed and watered daily, and because he struggles to navigate through plants or on branches, he stays with me most of the day.

We are already well known in the area, and although Stevie still has a long road to recovery ahead of him, everyday is a step closer to the goal!
