    Is my Oustalet's unique?

Thanks for all of the replys. I've had several chams over the past 5 years, and have been lucky not to have experienced any with injuries. It just goes to show you that there is always something new to learn about these animals. I'll do my best to care for her, and post updates.

    Is my Oustalet's unique?

I now live in Fall River, MA and as of January 4, 2014, it is legal to keep chameleons in this state.....My set up is similar to that of my Ambilobes, so I'm not worried about her being burned in my enclosure. I've only had her for 4days, so this must have happened while in the care of the...

    Is my Oustalet's unique?

These bright yellow markings are consistant in feel, and appear on both sides of her body. And she has been displaying them consistanly for the past 3 or 4 days.....And good of you to notice the casque, she was a little dehydrated when I bought her. But I'm happy to say that she has been...

    Is my Oustalet's unique?

I bought a female oustalet's at the NE Expo in Manchester, NH last weekend. She is extremely friendly and when I got her home, started exploring her enclosure right away. About an hour later she started showing bright yellows on her sides. These yellows practically glow in the dark. Since I...

    Names for a Chameleon

My veileds are named after Planet of the Apes characters. Right now I have Zira (female) and General Aldo (male). And my others are named after historical figures, or mythology (Magellan, Plato, and Andromeda).

    Magellan's colors

I just wanted to shamelessly show off Magellan, my Blue Bar Ambilobe. I bought him when he was 8 weeks old, now he is 6 months old, and showing some great colors.

I think my Male veiled has MBD

He should be dark near his basking light. They do this to absorb heat.

Omg! What Locale is My Panther Chameleon?

He looks like an ambilobe to me, but could be a cross. Take a look at my ambilobe in my album if you want to compare.

    Repashy Superpig is working

Thanks for all the kind words. I'd encourage everyone to take a little time, and give their feeders a fresh gutload, and keep a log book of everything you feed your cham everyday. It really isn't that much work, and the results speak for themselves.

    Repashy Superpig is working

I gutload all of my staple feeders (large crickets, and Dubia roaches), and also feed Hornworms, superworms, and Phoenix worms. I feed my staples a mixture of my fresh made Sulcata tortoise food which consists of collard greens, kale, butternut squash, and Repashy Superveggie. I also add oranges...

    Repashy Superpig is working

When I bought my 3 year old Red Bar Amibilobe, he wasn't in great shape. He was underfed, dehydrated, and his colors were extremely dull. But I got him for a great price, and figured that he could make a good recovery. Now just 3 months later, after proper housing, diet, and supplementation I'm...

    Progression of free range madness!!

Nice, this is something that I need to start to think about setting up.

    Dubia gutload

I use a scoop of my Sulcata tortoise food when it comes out of the food processor. It's mustard greens, butternut squash, yellow squash, carrots, and Repashy Superveggie. I also add couple slices of orange (with the peel), and apple.
