    I have it high up maybe a digital thermometer might be better, what kind if bulb would be better and what should be the tempture away from the basking spot?

    Sorry carol no I've used tried a 70 watt and also tried a 100 watt next to the repti sun, because I have to move the domes off the mesh with the 100 watt it's not helping, I am using a cheap dial type thermoter, the bulbs are pre rep neodymium daylight spot lamp.

    Hi guys new here but have been reading on her for a couple of weeks, I hoping someone can help me. Hi, I have bought a exoterra 100 and a repti sun 5.0 and also a 70 watt and 100 watt basking lamp, but I can't seem to get the basking spot much over 80f 30 degrees I have to have the light...
