The basking light does not sit on the cage, though the UVB light does. Her UVB light bulb does not get hot enough for her to get burned on it. She used to hang upside down but she has not for several months. I will rub the polysporin antibacterial ointment on it and see if it gets any better...

My chameleon has had this spot for about 3 months, it doesn't go away but hasn't gotten worse either. Any ideas about what it may be and how to make it heal? Thanks, Greyozzy
