    Cuban Laurel Thrip?!?! Disgusting!!!

 Thanks for replying! Out goes my ficus. Is it only ficus plants that are affected by these fowl critters?

Just cover 2-3 sides of the cage, 1 fully uncovered screen is plenty for ventilation. :)

    Cuban Laurel Thrip?!?! Disgusting!!!

Did you scrub the plant with soap etc and change the soil before you put it in the cage?? I have 3 plants in my cage! This is awful... if this happened even after you cleaned your plant then I'm taking mine OUT!

 This sounds scary! I have no experience with Jacksons so I can't offer any advice but I hope someone else does and you find out asap! Good luck.

No uvb for a long time???

Shouldn't calcium with d3 be used every 2 weeks and same with multivitamins? This is what I've always done. Dusting with d3 every week is too much.

No uvb for a long time???

Also. Is 2.0 UVB enough? I don't think it is. I'm sure it needs to be at least 5.0. I'm currently using a 10.0 UVB.

No uvb for a long time???

Can we see some pics of your cham? That would help. Just want to echo what Psychobunny said, over a month with no UV is bad news, a vet visit would be the best option just to be on the safe side.

    New Veiled Owner

Hi and welcome. I have a male veiled who's just turned 3 months old. He's slightly longer and chunkier by the looks if it. So I don't think yours can be any older than 3 months. Hope that helps. Great looking cham btw.
