We got Romeo, our panther chameleon from someone who wasn’t quite taking care of him like they should. After a couple trips to the vet, some multivitamin and antibiotic shots later he is a new little guy! When we got him he didn’t eat but 3 crickets in two weeks, wouldn’t open his eyes and was...
Awesome! I ordered two sundew plants and I’ll put them in at night and let them eat all they want! I’ll also try the vinegar if this doesn’t work. Thank you for the advice!
Well he will like them! I’ve read potting the plant in coconut substrate and play sand helps. The plants are fairly new, I have 3 different plants in the enclosure. The soil does say damp and the humidity now is in the 60s to 75
hello everyone, we’ve had Romeo, our rescued panther for about 2 weeks now. We took him to the vet because his eyes weren’t opening well and they also were inflamed. He wasn’t eating much and just being lazy. Got him on some antibiotics and multivitamin shot and he is good to go! Eating and...
It can be very stressful for them, yes. I take mine to the vet in a box with a small vine to attach on to. If you make sure it is completely dark they usually will fall asleep. Just make sure when you do travel if it is in a box it is somewhere it isn't going to get shook around or move. But i...
i've never purchased from them but heard good things about them. If you put live plants inside of the inclosure it will help keep humidity higher in the enclosure. Look at safe plants on the forums here.
I’ve ordered a few reptiles from LLL and I’ve had mostly good luck with them but it’s hard to say some people may love them and some may dislike. I’m not sure what lights come with the kit but I would make sure all of your temps, humidity and what not is ready for the little guy.
I would stay away from reptile expos. The animals there are very stressed and usually not in the best shape or sold way to young. If you like a vendor get a card and do some research and maybe you can order from them but I would pass on a reptile expo.
