Well it depends how you house the crickets. They need food( apples, carrots, tropical fish flakes, veggies, etc) and water which should be in a sponge for them to not drown. Given this and the right temp then it should be a few weeks. Good luck!:)

To be honest I'm not so sure. Im pretty sure its a male because of the spurs and young males look like females so thats why he is that color:). But I could be wrong.
