hi. 10% uv is known to have caused eye problems in chameleons.switch it to a 5% neon.

personally, i don't supplement with vitamins mountain species.i had problems with montium and merumontanus,both in males and females, concerning throat swallowing,not sure we can call it an edema.hence i decided to completely cut on vitamins,except for d3,that i give only when animals are not...

i would reduce supplement of vitamins and increase watering,that should help reduce the edema. and keep her outdoor as much as you can. other than that, stunning animal.

i think this could be quite problematic when considering smaller calumma speciese,pygmies or bradypodion,technically speaking.

i think eisentrauti is right, the amount and uality of parasites carried by another reptile is definetly different from the one of a bug,even if wildcaught. i know that in nature a cham would never say no to a bird a lizard or a baby mouse or whatever, but it is also known that in captivity...
