I'm pretty confident. But because she was the only one I saw from her clutch I can't be positive. She had been housed with her brothers and sisters until they were all sold, so unless somehow she or her egg got mixed in with the clutch of veilds I'm as sure as I can be.
Side note: You can't...
You barely notice she is there. She is so light. Pretty much the only thing you can feel is her tough little grip! She is super strong for something so tiny!
Yeah, no doubt she is the runt! She is nearly microscopic!
And yes, I know about egg laying and how to recognize the signs that she is read etc. I've had many a reptile in the past and did my best to educate myself fully, or as best I could, before I got her.
Like I said, I've had many a...
Though I am totally Cham crazy, I've really wanted to get a beardie for some time. Just the thought of a cuddly lizard sleeping in a hammock makes me happy!
My Iguana used to be that way. He loved to be held upside down like a baby. And he would snuggle me in bed. He was 6ft long though. So...
She was born about the first week of November, which means she is just over a week or so shy of 3 months. The breeder remarked on how small she was in comparison to the others. And I agree. I trust him that he was not lying about her age, especially since I overheard confirmation of the age of...
She was the last one left of the clutch and so they had no reason to keep the set-up. I was concerned about getting a whole set-up within my budget and while expressing those concerns with the owners they offered the whole thing! It's an awesome awesome cage. And I got a great deal.
I felt...
What a wonderful story! And beautiful pictures!
I'm happy I found this thread with the two year update! I love things like that so much!
And how lucky you were to see those Jacksons! I hope it proved to be as good an omen as I think it is! :-D
Thank you! And yes, she loves her cage.
I was lucky enough to get the cage she was raised in along with her. I am confident that helped reduce her stress during the move to her new home. She was the smallest of her clutch apparently, but in the few days she has lived with me she has already...
Just got her on Saturday!
She's a 3 month old veiled, settling in well and the new love of my life! She seems to have a pretty relaxed personality over all, with only a little bit of attitude! She finally showed off some colors a little bit today, so I snapped some pictures to show her off.
