Ok I will replace the vines and set up a probe thermometer. Is it normal at all for them to stay dark for a while after changing to a new owner?

Ok thank you. I will adjust the basking light to a lower branch. I have been using a temp gun to check the branch temp. Yes fogger only comes on for about 5 hours at night. Have also been misting after lights out too.
