Hey guys its been a while since i was on here been working away without a laptop, I've had a few questions about how my veiled is doing after her op, for the first 2 months after it she was unable to fire her tongue any further then 2 inches, but happily she started to use it again and seems...

well she's going back to the vets tomorrow, she's turned all black :( its at the stage now where is it nicer for the animal to be put to sleep or not :(

i also forgot to mention they asked me to bring her back on friday for another injection apperently a long lasting drug to stop infections ? should this not have been administrated straight away ? thanks guys

or use an thermostat and set the desired temp rather then just having a bulb on full power

The oxy is having no effect, they are going to do the seserium how ever its spelt, tomorrow.

you could still take him out for short periods along as you have a cool shaded area and keep him misted, but for one of your questions any bulb will be better then no bulb :)

there going to try the oxy injections and calcium if that has no effect the next step would be surgery, the vet said although she is egg bound she is still very healthy and is the biggest female veiled he has seen :D, i have to call tomorrow but he told me we won't know for definite till monday...

Hi i took her to a pet shop i regular use, he seems to think its a blockage, he tried a bath sort of thing to see if it could help her pass anything but nothing :(, i then rang the vets and they still said earliest was tuesday until i explained all the symptoms they then demanded i bring...

Hi thanks for the response, it has now started to spread to the rest of her body, I've had a little squeeze of her tummy area and can't seem to feel any eggs or the like, I'm so worried can't get her to a vets till monday.
