No I don't leave the lights at the bottom it's just that he will barely move and it's freezing in my room so the light at the bottom is temporary

I just throw the crickets in the cage and he usually just goes after them I would say about 10. I just kept it on the last two night because it was in the low 50's in my room.

Thanks for the info I usually feed my chameleon crickets but occasionally I feed them superworms and waxworms.
