I've had mine for about 7 weeks now, and he still hides a little when I enter the room if he's on the top branch under the basking lamp. But for some reason when he's on the leaves in the front of the cage, he doesn't hide at all when he sees me, and that's even closer. He still won't let me...

i live in ND.. I have them too. They look like fruit flies, but I don't think they are. Whatever they are, they aren't that bothersome. I think they like the live plants

I think he's doing well. He shed his skin yesterday, and dropped some very large stool. He didn't seem interested in the silkworms, as they were still crawling around last night untouched. But I have been gut loading the crickets the night before with carrots, oranges and Flunckers diet...

Just added 5 silkworms to his cage; hopefully when I get home they'll all be gone.

Hello all, I could use some advice! I received a baby Veiled Cham (advertised as 3 month old) from FLCHAMS.com 6 days ago. So far I haven't seen him eat any crickets, however, I have found droppings on the large leaves near his basking lamp. They are tiny, but otherwise look normal...
